Established in December 1986 Companies House Number 21CUS

White Cart Credit Union It was originally established in 1986 in a local church hall and with a small handful of members, who struggled against a backdrop of social deprivation, low income and unemployment.

 Members should be grateful for the vision and dedication of those who have steered credit union to their present numbers and influence.

Membership has grown steadily to currently over 1500 active members providing savings and loans for anyone living, working or studying in Renfrewshire.

The credit union is active in the schools within the Common Bond offering junior aver Account where children can start saving until 18 and can then transfer to an adult account helping them with finances as they go through life.

To update or enhance the history on this credit union then it should be e-mailed to the Historical Society for inclusion and recorded for prosperity
