St Francis Xavier Credit Union

The credit union was formed in 1995 for all those who associate with St Francis Xavier, St Mary of the Angels and St Anthony’s churches in Falkirk.

The purpose was to provide a home for secure savings and a place where members could borrow money in times of need at fair rates of interest.

Over 640 members have invested their savings and over the years over £2million in loans have been granted.

A 1% dividend has now been applied to all member accounts based on average share balances in 2016-17.

The credit union is a long-standing member of the Scottish league.
