Began as a study group in February 2004 and later registered in June the same year as Glenrothes and Levenmouth Credit.
May 2007 was when the name changed and the common bond to cover all of Fife and became known as Kingdom Community Bank.
There are various collection points and a new one opened recently on every Friday at Coalfields Regeneration Trust in Kincardine.
The credit union endeavours to pay a dividend to all members including junior members.
Kingdom Community Bank is part of a Credit Union Consortium with other Scottish credit unions and are supported by the Carnegie UK Trust. They are working together to drive an increase in employer payroll deduction.
November 2018 the credit union officially opened the new office, located at 15 Lyon Way, Kingdom Centre, Glenrothes
