Established in September 1988 Companies House Number 30CUS

The credit Union is a local, not for profit financial institution registered by the founders who began learning how to run a credit union in the late 1980s. It is a community credit union with a Common Bond of the following areas, Condorrat, Westfield, Eastfield, Balloch, Blackwood, Greenfaulds

A Successful credit union based on mutual principles. They don’t benefit anybody other than their members and the community and a long standing member of the Association of British Credit Unions (ABCUL).

The Credit Union has offered people a friendly way to save and borrow. They offer a service for local people and over the years have allowed local people to save and borrow at an affordable rate. Also operating a School Saver Club in local primary schools which has proved to be a very successful way of encouraging children to save.

They have operated in various location over the many years and are now located in new premises that were officially opened on the 31st of August 2012 marking the start of a new era for the credit union which was founded years ago by Tommy and Margaret McKendrick, and Henry Murray.
