Cambuslang Credit Union

Established in 1995 Companies House Number 107CUS

Cambuslang Credit Union was originally established as a community-based organisation to offer local people a friendly way to save and borrow.

From then they continue to provide the services of Savings and Loans to members. The operations and management of the credit union was carried out by volunteers from the Board of Directors and today by a dedicated staff.

Over time the common bond has been extended wider afield and membership has continued to grow. The credit union is very active in the local school within the Common Bond.

They have enjoyed considerable success over the years and now have over 3500 active members including over 700 Junior members with its own shop front premises on the main Street of Cambuslang in Glasgow. The credit union is a member of ABCUL trade association.
