The Credit Union is small in comparison to some credit unions Registered in 1996 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company with the number NO000170.
However, from a member’s point of view it has been successful and will continue to be as they to disperses affordable financial services to their members.
Dividends have been paid out year after year while at the same time lending out hundreds of thousands of pounds to members.
This Credit Union like a lot of small credit unions run by an elected committee volunteers with no paid employees.
Membership is for members of The Orange Order District their families and friends.
They meet every Thursday evening in the Orange Hall. Loans are administered on the 1st. 3rd. 5th. Thursdays of each month.
