The credit Union is a local, not for profit financial institution. Established in December 1991 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company number NO000187 by a group Lodge member recognising the benefits of a credit union.

The principles of Co-operation and self-help, with a view to helping families and individuals in the credit union to improve their quality of life, were the motivating factors in the setting up of the Credit Union
The Centre is home to the credit union, and has lodge facilities, the Orange Heritage exhibition area, a function room, a kitchen and office facilities.
The credit union in the past has shown their support for the work of Foyle Hospice with a donation of £500.
