A member of the Ulster federation of Credit Unions company number is NO000152 and was incorporated on the 1st of July 1993 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company.
The credit union was completely staffed by volunteers some of who were the founders but there are now some part time staff delivering services on certain days of the week.
Members should be grateful for the vision and dedication of those who have steered the credit union to the present numbers and influence.
The aims from the beginning was to create alternative personal financial services in the community under the ownership and direction of its members.
The Credit Union recently acquired and refurbished premises on the high street in Antrim town opened by the chair of the Federation.
They have both senior and junior members and welcome more from around the district.
