The credit union was set up on 14 Aug 1995 and has its registered office in Newry company number NO000160 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company.

Along with other credit unions affiliated to the Ulster Federation of Credit Unions the operations and management of the credit union are carried out by volunteers and managed by a Board of Directors.
Based on mutual principles. they don’t benefit anybody other than their members
Membership is for members of The Orange Order District, their families and friends.
