The credit union began in 1964 as a small group of people as a savings club and was registered in February 1971 with company number NO000076 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company
From humble beginnings the credit union has grown to and has given over all the years of service to the local community. The founders should be acknowledged as a pillar of the Credit Union movement in the area.
Expansion continues to future generations to become one of the most successful credit unions in the country. Successfully obtaining the Investors in People in May 2009 showing commitment to the Credit Union.
In 2017 the credit union launched their new website with plenty of information about products and services with a new loan calculator.
Introduced in 2018 was the fantastic new online and mobile banking app. Members could now take control of their finances at the touch of a button.
