Erne Credit Union was registered in November 1992 as an Industrial and Provident Society Company number NO000142
The credit union is a member along with other credit unions established in the 1990’s affiliated to the Ulster Federation of Credit Unions.
The credit union has successfully provided for its members a source of low-cost credit and other financial benefits operating under the motto not for profit, not for charity, but for service.
The operations and management of the credit union is carried out by volunteers from the Board of Directors who are elected to oversee the business.
Membership is for members of The Orange Order District their families and friends.
