The Credit Union was set up in 1966 by a group of local people and registered in January 1971as an Industrial and Provident Society Company number NO000029

Since then the Credit Union has offered people a friendly way to save and borrow. They offer a service for local people and over the years have allowed local people to save and borrow at an affordable rate.
The credit union offers a service within in the common bond of members residing in or work in Dromore Parish.
Local schools take part in the school’s savings scheme and have a strong link with the credit union. The Junior Saver Account is where children can start saving until 18 and can then transfer to an adult account helping them with finances as they go through life.
The Credit Union. membership has increased over the years to over 2,000 adults.
