Claudy Credit Union

Registered at the latter end of June in 1971 with the company number NO00415 under the Industrial and Provident Society.

The original founder members struggled against a backdrop of social deprivation and unemployment to build a solid foundation that would last.

What they had created has stood the test of time and a debt of gratitude is owed to those founder members for the benefits enjoyed today.

Claudy Credit Union is dedicated to serving the financial needs of its members.

One of the main aims of the credit union is to encourage members to develop the habit of regular savings and to provide low cost loans for the members.

The Credit Union offers a Junior Saver Account where children can start saving until 18 and can then transfer to an adult account helping them with finances as they go through life.

In addition to Life Savings Insurance and Loan Protection Insurance cover, The Credit Union also provides Death Benefit Insurance for all eligible members.
