Antrim Credit Union was first opened in 1968 by a group of volunteers with the company number00004

They believed in the work of the credit union movement in Ireland after a period of training and visits to other credit unions.
The credit union has been serving the people of Antrim and Randalstown for over 50 years with over 7000 members and are growing bigger and stronger every year
There was a need for the organisation in the community to help those who could not get help anywhere else.
At the end of the 2017 there was a total of over £9 million on deposit with the credit union.
Since 2012 the credit union reports to the Regulators, the Prudential Regulation Authority at the Bank of England on a Quarterly and Annual basis.
Reports to the Irish League of Credit Unions have continued as a member of the Irish league.
