Was founded on 11 Jan 1971 with the company number NO000001 and has its registered office in Newtownabbey as an active credit union.
The credit union was begun by a group of dedicate people in bring financial services to their community.
The original founder members Found it difficult in the beginning against a backdrop of social deprivation and unemployment.
A debt of gratitude is owed to those founder members for the benefits enjoyed today.
The credit union founders believed that banks can never match the credit union for the great benefits they offer.
The credit union is open to granting very large loan amounts, as well as smaller amounts based on terms and conditions.
In 2012 the Financial Conduct Authority brought the credit unions in Northern Ireland under their control and regulations of the UK.
