Began as Suffolk County Council Employees and Pensioners Credit Union Limited in 1997.
It was in November 2007 when the Common Bond – for the credit union was extended
The common bond when extended was for all residents who live or work in the whole of Suffolk.
The decision was taken to include residents of the county and pensioners receiving a pension from a public sector service.
Well received as a financial co-operative, operating successfully, owned and operated on a non-profit basis by the members.
