Registered in July 1987 as a credit union parishioner first began to have a savings group to build up funds for lending to each other.

The idea came from those parishioners who had experienced successful credit unions in Ireland.
Membership has long been established for people who have an association with the Church over the generations.
Whilst the records show as an active credit union with the company number 85C there are no further written detailed history of the credit union.
So, if someone would like to update then please let us know.
