St Gregory’s Credit Union

Register in March 1995 with the Common Bond: – (a reason for existence) to embrace all the Catholic Church communities within the East Leeds Deanery.

Membership is open to anyone residing in the Parish Community of Blessed John Henry Newman.

The Credit Union, allows its members to make deposits of savings to build up an individual member savings account. Starting from £1 up to a maximum limit of £15,000.

Staffed by volunteers they have all the facilities for operating savings and loans in the community. They have relatively few debts and a very sound financial asset base.

These services are offered to any person associated with the following churches: St Gregory’s, Swarcliffe; St Theresa’s, Crossgates; Our Lady of Good Counsel; St Benedict, Garforth; St Nicholas, Gipton; St Augustine, Harehills; Corpus Christie, Halton; Immaculate Heart of Mary; St Patrick’s, Burmantofts
