Hampshire Credit Union

Registered in December 2000 as Portsmouth Savers opens as a not-for-profit Credit Union in 2001 for people who live, work or study in Hampshire.

2006 was when the credit union takes up with Winchester Savers and in 2007 acquires Basingstoke Savers.

It was not until 2009 that the credit union with Southampton Savers rebrand to United Savings & Loans. As United Savings & Loans in 2011 they have joined with Havant Savers.

 2012 United Savings & Loans acquire Isle of Wight Credit Union. They then in 2013 as United Savings & Loans rebrand as Hampshire Credit Union. It then in 2017 began trading with the name changed to Hampshire Credit Union as Wessex Community Bank.
