After consultation with the local authority and a feasibility study Mid Rossendale credit union Merged in late 2014.
Started as Haslingden And Helmshore Credit Union Limited in August 1993 changed to HHH Credit Union in January 2005. October 2011 was when it Registered as First Choice Credit Union Ltd.
As the name suggests, the Credit Union became the available Choice to anyone living or working in all areas that make up the Borough of Rossendale – Bacup, Whitworth, Rawtenstall, Haslingden and Edenfield.
In addition, those who work in the following wards which make up the Bury North Parliamentary Constituency -Church, East, Elton, Moorside, North Manor, Ramsbottom, Redvales, and Tottington.
