Is an industrial Credit Union based in Swindon Wiltshire with the Registered Number 43C and began in 1980 with a hand full of members that grew to 700

In 1980, a common bond was established for Raychem employees in Swindon yet no funding was received from Raychem, but 9 volunteers put a roadshow together. They registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 and 71 people joined.
Now in 2016 membership stands at 546, with 39 volunteers and 2 employees with assets of £1.4 million.
This Credit Union is run by volunteers who conduct the business on behalf of members.

In 2020 during the Covid 19 Pandemic the credit union celebrated its 40th anniversary and members joined the celebration online. The enthusiasm and dedication of the credit union volunteer and director base is still evident after 40 years of service to their community providing four decades of vital community service a wonderful achievement.
