Congleton Community Credit Union

Is a small Comminity Credit Union with a membership of ocer 120 and was Established in May 1998 at Companies House Number 423C

Known locally as Congleton’s best kept secret, there is a local savings and loan cooperative, regulated and approved by The Financial Services Authority, for those who live or work in the CW12 area.

Congleton Credit Union Limited help to reduce the reliance of local residents on payday lenders, serving members who are at the lower end of the income scale.

Funding from Cheshire Community Foundation enabled the establishment of a Loan Guarantee Fund for people needing an emergency loan.

A representative is in the Registrar Office on the lower ground floor of Congleton Library every Saturday morning between 10.00am and 11.00am.
