Registered in April 1998 after a number of people decided to establish a credit union for local people who reside in, or are employed in, the Borough of Chesterfield and in North East Derbyshire
Members have joined from Chesterfield Borough Council, North East Derbyshire District Council, Rykneld Homes. Derbyshire County council. Derbyshire Unemployed Worker’s Centres, Chesterfield Royal hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The credit union has a Junior Savers Scheme where they can save as little as 50p a week. There are over twenty schools taking part in this scheme.
