was established in June 2000 as Worksop & District Credit Union and in 2010 began trading as Langley Park Community Bank.
Since then the Credit Union has offered people a friendly way to save and borrow. They offer a service for local people and over the years have allowed local people to save and borrow at an affordable rate.
The common bond is for people living or working in Bassetlaw District, Bolsover District, Warsop, Mansfield Woodhouse, Ollerton and Edwinstowe.
The Credit Union offers a Junior Saver Account where children can start saving until 18 and can then transfer to an adult account helping them with finances as they go through life.
There is also the facility for Corporate Membership who can deposit funds up to a maximum which is currently £15K.
Since 2015 the credit union has been trading as what is now known as 2Shires Community Bank
